I know it was a rush to get that last class finished so I could get the degree in hand and yes it took up a good chunk of the summer, but seriously it is already over. Fall is here and leaves are already turning.
List below of all the fun activities from this summer:
Lexi attended many camps and activities this summer –
Peter Pan camp with The Culture House
Basketball camp GABL
Basketball camp GABL

New York trip to visit family – lake
Swimming lessons with Lifeguard Ryan and Aunt Hilary

Katy Perry surprise – with Cortni and Rylee
Go Cart Racing with Rylee
We had a wonderful summer and can’t wait for the holidays to start rolling in. Next is Lexi’s 9th birthday in October. Hannah/Samantha turned 14 years old this summer. She graduated from 8th grade and started her first year of High School praise God! Her adoptive sister stays in touch on a regular and lets us know how she is doing. She is still struggling to put on weight, but is now 5’3″. Crazy how time flies. She is currently working on a family tree project and has asked for Grandparent information and photos to share at school. She is so excited to be able to share information about her wonderful family as well as her birth family. Jaelyn will be 8 months old soon and is growing so fast. There are plenty of photos under the family photos section. We have been staying at the house recently waiting for word from the attorney on the remediation company and next steps. I will keep everyone posted when we officially relocate. In the mean time prayers are helpful.
As some of you may know I have met with Fred, my old boss, (Harvard Business School MBA I studied under from 2006-2010) for the past 4 years twice a month going over new endeavors. We have been looking for another company to turn around and provide jobs for the women closer to Topeka. This has taken longer than anticipated and recently we learned that Fred is dealing with pancreatic cancer. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he will be having surgery in the next 10 days. I cannot tell you how much he has been a life saver for me and my family. He is the reason I have been able to become a successful business consultant, as well as a driven, focused, motivated person who loves to see results and help people. He is why I am able to do graphic design and help people with logos and websites.
This post is too long so that is all for now. Thank you for all you are doing to help us smile everyday, and please continue to guide us and pray for us along the way. God has a plan for all of us and we are doing our best to walk the path he has laid out for us wherever that leads.
